Hey guys, I am glad to be sharing a timelapse video 📹 of my mural art painting for StreetARToronto Outside the Box Program 2025. Huge thanks to @start_streetartoronto & @otbmurals for this awesome and fun collaboration and meeting the locals in Liberty Village & spreading some raccoon love 🦝❤️ to you all😄
➡️ 🦝 Why Raccoons, TTC Streetcar, CN Tower, Sunset, Burgers, etc…? I was inspired by our raccoon friends living in our Toronto city. I wanted to create a fun and cute statement about Toronto lifestyle, sunset city vibes, food, ttc ride, etc… The tagline that got me inspired 🦝❤️ “From chasing sunsets by the lake to grabbing late-night burgers at a 24/7 diner…Toronto’s magic lives in every streetcar ride, every tasty bite—and every raccoon’s cheeky escapade.” ***Yes, I made the tag typos 😎!
➡️ About StreetARToronto The Outside The Box Program – The Outside the Box program provides an opportunity for local artists to create works of art on traffic signal boxes across Toronto. Since 2013, over 500 boxes have been hand-painted by local artists, or wrapped featuring designs by local graphic artists, and transformed into extraordinary works of art. Artists and graphic designers applying to this program are encouraged to consider the context of the local area and the city as a whole. Art calls for hand-painted boxes, and graphic designs for wrapped boxes, are issued separately.
➡️ ❤️ Show your love for the wild side of the Toronto with our “I ♥️ Raccoon City” Keychain! 🏙️🍁 A fun tribute to the city we call home—and the raccoons who call our alleys theirs | 🎁 Merch is on sale now in my Dreamstore! Spread the word, rep your city, and carry a little Toronto magic wherever you go. 🌎🧡
