Hey guys, I am glad to be sharing a timelapse video 📹 of my window live painting for Window Wonderland 2024 in the Junction, Toronto. Many thanks to the @torontojunction & @coolearth_architecture for this awesome and fun collaboration and meeting the Junction locals & spreading some whale love 🐳❤️ to you all😄
➡️ 🐳 Why Whales? I discovered that whales play an integral role in preserving our ecosystem. These magnificent creatures are essential in maintaining the carbon cycle and supporting biodiversity. By releasing nutrient-rich waste, whales stimulate phytoplankton growth—tiny plants that absorb significant amounts of CO2. When these plants die, they sequester carbon in the ocean, helping combat climate change. In light of this revelation, all parties agreed to move forward with this brilliant idea, and I was more than happy to draw one of my favorite animals while contributing to the message that by protecting these incredible beings, we help preserve the delicate balance of our ecosystems. Together, we can foster a sustainable future—where saving whales means saving our planet 🌎.
