Transforming The Work Hub: A Custom Canadian Nature Mural by Dreamdoodle

I am Celia Pang, the artist and illustrator behind Dreamdoodle, and I am thrilled to share a timelapse video of my latest custom mural project at The Work Hub
in Downtown Ajax.

Bringing this vibrant, Canadian-inspired piece to life in such a dynamic, modern coworking space was an incredible experience. A huge thank you to the team at The Work Hub for collaborating with Dreamdoodle, and to all the amazing locals I had the pleasure of meeting along the way. As a Canadian artist, it is always an honor to create public and commercial art that celebrates our culture, and I hope this piece brings bright, inspiring energy to everyone who visits the space.

The Inspiration: Wildlife and the Modern Professional

For this custom office mural, I applied my signature Dreamdoodle style to the diverse natural landscape of Canada. Wildlife truly embodies the resilient spirit of our country, and my goal was to bring the energy of the outdoors inside, tailoring it specifically for a modern professional environment:

The Maple Leaf: The ultimate symbol of Canada, capturing the warmth, unity, and welcoming culture of our local communities.

The Moose: A symbol of strength, resilience, and the vast Canadian wilderness. In this mural, the moose is reimagined as a modern entrepreneur, working confidently in a collaborative setting.

The Goose: Representing migration, freedom, and the beauty of chasing new business opportunities and horizons.

The Canvas: The Work Hub in Downtown Ajax

Located in the heart of Downtown Ajax, The Work Hub is a premier collaborative coworking space offering flexible workspaces, private offices, and meeting rooms. It served as the perfect canvas for this Dreamdoodle mural because the facility fosters a highly productive and welcoming environment for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and businesses of all sizes. Whether you are working solo or collaborating with a team, it is an ideal place to grow your business and network with like-minded professionals.

How long does it take to paint a custom office mural?

A piece like the one at The Work Hub typically takes [Insert Timeframe, e.g., 3 to 5 days] from the initial sketch on the wall to the final brushstroke. I always aim to work efficiently to minimize disruption to your workspace.

What materials do you use for your indoor wall art?

For indoor office murals, I use high-quality, durable, and low-VOC interior paints. This ensures the colors remain vibrant for years to come while keeping the air quality safe and comfortable for everyone working in the space during and after the painting process.
